Batmobile
Batman originally drove a simple red vehicle. The car's design gradually evolved and eventually became a "specially built high-powered auto" by Detective #30, and in Batman #5 it began featuring a bat hood ornament and a darker paint job.
Eventually, the designs included a large, dark-colored body and bat accessories, including large tail-fins which were meant to resemble a bat's wings.
